Norse Atlantic Airways Pet Reservation

Norse Atlantic airways is a Norwegian low cost, long haul airline headquartered in Arendal, Norway. Founded in February 2021. This airline operates a fleet of Boeing 787 aircrafts between Europe and North America.

Our pets are the most important part of our life. They help us in so many ways like emotional development, emotional stability, developing our mental stability, etc.

When we plan to go somewhere, we are in dilemma to where to keep our pets? Should we take them with us or not? How should we take them? Etc.

If you are planning to go somewhere via Norse Atlantic airways and wants to take your pet with you, then this post is for you.

Norse Airways Pet Policy

Norse Atlantic Airways doesn’t allow pets to travel on the airline, not in the cabin not even in cargo. Animals that give emotional support, companionship animals or service dogs that are still in training are not allowed. The only animas that are allowed into the cabin are trained service dogs.

Trained Service Animal

Service dogs are allowed to travel free of charge in the cabin on Norse Atlantic Airways.

Service dogs are those dogs who are trained to do work and perform tasks for the benefit of a qualified individual with sensory, physical, psychiatric, intellectual or mental disabilities.

Passengers with disabilities are allowed to take maximum of two service dogs while traveling.

Your service dog must have following traits:

  • Shows appropriate behaviour while in public.
  • Your dog must be four months old.
  • Remain under your control all the time.
  • Show appropriate behaviour while in public or on boarding the aircraft.

Service Dog Reservation in Norse Airways

  • While getting your service dog booked, you must keep these instructions in your mind:
  • Submit the complete documents of your service dog at least 48 hours before the flight.
  • Documents must include health, training and behaviour of the service dog.
  • Once you book your reservation, the NORSE ATLANTIC Airways will refer this process.
  • To get the application form contact customercare@fynorse.com
  • Once the booking is made and the form is submitted to Airways authorities, they will add the service dog to your booking.

Instruction to follow at the Airport/On-Board

  • Speak to a Norse representative, once you reach the airport at check-in.
  • Provide correct documentation for your country of destination.
  • Your dog must wear an identifying jacket, vest or harness while in the airport/on board.
  • Select your seat prior reaching to the airport.
  • Your seat must not be on an emergency exit row or anywhere which obstructs other passenger’s personal space.
  • Depending on the size, your service dog may either travel on lap or in the foot space.
  • You must attach your dog with a harness rather than a collar.
